9to5 Mac is reporting a number of changes to Apple retail store policies that include eliminating restocking fees and offering personal setup for Macs in-store. Apple has been offering personal setup for iOS devices for years, but now they are expanding that to Macs, as well. There's nothing so surprisingly easy as setting up a Mac today, but it is still a longer and more complicated process than setting up a phone. Both of these changes will be advantageous for Apple buyers, but expect your retail store and Genius Bar to get even more crowded now.
