According to AppleInsider, analyst Mark Moskowitz of J.P. Morgan suggested in a note to investors that the subsidized price of the iPhone(s) on Verizon could cost $20 or $30 more than the comparable AT&T versions.  Like all analysts, he makes a mistake in basing this on component costs, in this case of the CDMA wireless components needed for this new version. Without going into all of the reasons you should never listen to financial analysts when it comes to technology news, particularly Apple news, let me just say that there is no way this will happen.  30 dollars is nothing to Verizon or Apple over the long haul of contracts, and there is no way that Verizon is going to let pricing become a cloud over the iPhone launch.  It's doubtful that even Apple would allow that to happen.  Expect the prices to be $199 for 16 GB and $299 for 32 GB and for everyone to go home happy... except the rarely on-target analysts.
